I'd like a big zebra-type ottoman but when I mentioned it in a blog post month's ago folks voted 'no'...

And you know how I care about what 'they' say and think...

:)Michael Guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11939701498074991413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2241125446398657690.post-20599352856656961852010-05-17T21:04:38.322-07:002010-05-17T21:04:38.322-07:001 -- your mom is not ready to either examine her c...1 -- your mom is not ready to either examine her choices or listen to anyone say she's made a bad one. Lots of people are like that. However, I'm the sort of person who won't visit anyone if I can't be comfortable while I'm there. Just sayin'.

2 -- I ENVY YOU! I also own several couches/love seats. Right now, in this house, we have upstairs an armless fold-out couch that becomes the guest bed. In the living room we have the love seat and two chairs from a full set of very 1970s furniture. In the storage unit is the couch to that set, my own incredibly beautiful full length couch (which won't even fit in this house) a large armchair and ottoman (same thing), a teak love seat/couch (it's longer than usual for a loveseat) that isn't a comfy lounging couch so it isn't here, and a rather exotic "rocking couch", which is a Scandinavian thing from the 60s which, while really comfy, takes a LOT of space.

The current house does not have the best laid out living room. Window placement and walk paths seem to assume no one actually owns furniture (well, I could rearrange the wall unit, but...)

Anyway, we now roam furniture stores to lust for couches.Murphy Jacobshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04088378675343658890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2241125446398657690.post-70784045599580348392010-05-17T20:41:03.335-07:002010-05-17T20:41:03.335-07:00I am still laughing! Until she turned into something called a country kitchen and then the dining room table was in there. It was weird - when you want to watch tv you need a couch! What is with our family???Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
